Starting her career at a young age, she has played in a number of commercials, films, and television series. Welsch in Harriet the Spy Trachtenberg was born in New York City , [2] the younger of two daughters of Lana, a bank manager, and Michael Trachtenberg, a fiber-optics engineer, [ citation needed ] Jewish immigrants from Russia and Germany, respectively.
