It is the second installment in American Pie Presents film series , a spin-off of the American Pie franchise. John White stars as Erik Stifler, a high school senior given a weekend sex pass by his girlfriend Jessy Schram , who visits the Beta House fraternity led by his cousin Steve Talley to run a mile naked. A sequel titled Beta House was released on December 26, Erik Stifler, Steve and Matt Stifler 's cousin, fails to live up to the family name as he is about to graduate from high school as a virgin. As the film opens, Erik feigns an illness so that he can stay home and masturbate. His parents and grandmother unexpectedly walk into the door and are hit with Erik's semen , causing his grandmother to die of a heart attack. Erik's girlfriend of two years, Tracy, loves him but is not ready for sex. Tracy sees this as an opportunity to give Erik a sex pass, hoping that he can quench his lustful desires.

The Naked Mile began in the mid 's as a celebration of the last day of classes for University of Michigan students. The first Naked Mile, started by a small group of students, ran naked on westbound S. Univeristy from Washtenaw through the Diag to the Administration building. Approximately 15 people participated and the event past without any arrests as officers were not even called to the scene. Most people thought the event was some type of fraternity prank, which are very common. While on patrol my partner and I observed approximately 30 naked men running down the middle of S. At this point no one at the police department knew of the Naked Mile and we assumed it had something to do with a fraternity. Interestingly enough, we did not even get one call from a citizen in regards to these runners, as if citizens of Ann Arbor were used to naked people running down the street! University and thousands of spectators came to watch the event.
